Quantum speedup at zero temperature via coherent catalysis
G. A. Durkin
Proving quantum speed-up is possible in certain models of quantum annealing with non-stoquastic drivers. The results contradict conventional mean-field analysis in the thermodynamic limit. Asymptotic analysis of finite size system predicts dominant behaviour -- both scaling and coefficients of numerical results for systems of more than 50 qubits, indicating the legitmacy and importance of quantum transport by vacuum delocalization.
